What Is A DAO?
An overview of how DAO's and how DECENTRELON is creating a true digital democracy.
Decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) are communities on the blockchain that collectively own and vote on the future of organizations they belong to. You can think of a DAO like a board of a company, except fully digital and made up of the entire community in the DAO. The tokens you are claiming represent your voting shares in the DAO, and the wallet that holds these tokens can be used on the DECENTRELON app to vote on the future of what the community does.
In order to build the best system that operates the core function of the DAO often votes on boards of their own. An elected board can work just as efficiently as any other board but is subject to the proposals and decisions voted on by the people. The key part is who ultimately benefits, and who ultimately is in control. With the current structure of Twitter and other centralized social platforms, the board serves the needs of the FEW and cares about the extraction of value from users rather than serving them.
DECENTRELON’s dream is to fulfill the ultimate purpose of cryptocurrency which is bringing forth the “ownership economy”. Turning the users of the platform, the people who give it the value it has, into the ones who benefit from its continued growth.

The American government which acts as a board of directors was first established by the signing of the Constitution during the American Revolution of 1776, a revolt stemming from the American people realizing they were being taxed without representation. At that time America was made up of 2.5 million people. These people banded together from their overarching oppressors’, putting their lives on the line to achieve the freedom of their nation. These brave men and women put their lives on the line because small taxes were added on imports of certain goods.
Now, we lead a charge to ask a percent of the 400 million users of Twitter to realize the great oppurtunity before us, and to become a strong part of the fight, to stand against the 100% tax on all value we create.
To stand against the total lack of representation.
To stand against the limitation of free speech being abused by the platform.
The ultimate end of crypto is the possibility of a future for humanity unshackled from the institutions that seek to limit our growth, the ability to come together around a great mission, to build attention, and for a treasury, we all govern to grow because of the attention is the revolution crypto was always meant to fulfill.
Instead of muskets and bullets, we can sit in our houses and collectively click a few buttons in order to take back our digital nation.
